The Day after Market Day

Well yesterday we had a stall at Babushka Moo Markets and it wasn't that successful but I am not going to really complain because I did make my stall fee back(just). But I feel for other stalls that didn't even make a sale. I think it was about location with not very big signage to say market here today. But we all move on and hope the next market is more successful!

Although we did sell the Paris Pinny! It got so many comments so I am not surprised it sold.

Missing in action but so much happening!

Well I have not been on here in quite some time but I have been busy sewing. I have a stall booked with Babushka Moo Markets in Bulleen for 21st April(coming up very soon). Then I have also been accepted as a stall holder for Mathilda Markets November Christmas market. So lots more sewing to do!

I have also added chunky bead necklaces, pinny's and girls pants! Will give you a taste of the necklaces and pinny's but you will need to wait to see the funky girls pants!

So Much Has Been Happening But The Sewing!

So much has been happening around the LLB household but the sewing! After getting my new overlocker it felt great to be sewing again. But then my sewing machine decided the needle wanted to go out of alignment. Needs a good servicing. So I have sent it off to the sewing machine dr. Lets hope she comes back soon(yes I like to refer to my little beauty as a she).

In all reality I think I really need a new sewing machine. A stronger one that can handle all that I throw at her. But I love this machine and will find it hard to part with her. She was with me from the start!

So instead I will do non sewing crafts until she is back from the machine dr!

I finally got a new overlocker

Well after my overlocker being a complete pain I got a new one. I did want the Babylock Imagine but it is on the higher end of pricing so I got a Janome Mylock 644d. Had a quick play around with it on the weekend and I love having an overlocker that is working again. It also means I am able to make a start on my summer collection!

I also have a new range coming out that is not clothing - so stay tuned for a sneak peak of the new range!

Guess The Weight Competition Has Ended!

Well LLB's guess the weight competition ended on April 4th.

We had a guess that was close to baby Harry's birth weight. Our adorable little man junior(Oliver is little man) was born at 9:23am Friday 13th April, weighing 3210grams(7 pounds, 1 and a half ounces)!

You need to guess his weight and what time you think he will make his arrival.
You also need to send through your full name on the same email.

The winner will be the person who is closest to the correct weight & time of arrival.

One of my first dresses and then reusing the off-cuts

This dress is one of my favourite dresses I have ever made!It was also one of the very first dresses I made(it was actually the second dress I made)!

But now I have managed to use some of the scraps left over from this dress to embellish a onesie! It isn't as beautiful as the original dress but it still has a cuteness about it!
